The 10th China-Europe Entrepreneur Summit was recently opened in London, UK. The delegates will jointly discuss the internationalization development strategy of enterprises, look forward to China-Europe business innovation cooperation, and promote bilateral inclusive economic growth.
Liu Xiaoming, Chinese ambassador to the UK, pointed out in his opening speech that China and the EU have long had broad consensus on major issues such as improving global economic governance, maintaining multilateralism, and advocating free trade. The two sides have a solid foundation for cooperation. China and the EU need to strengthen trust and cooperation, consolidate the consensus of ideas; strengthen rules and cooperation, lead innovation and upgrading; strengthen open cooperation and develop sharing opportunities.
Graham Stewart, the government's under-investment in the UK's Department of International Trade, said that as a member of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative, the UK is China's natural partner and will support the implementation of the “Belt and Road” initiative.

 

The United Nations Global Education Special Envoy, former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, said that Britain and China need to engage in dialogue on financial issues, strategic energy and immigration and study abroad to reach more trade agreements. Brown stressed that the “Belt and Road Initiative” will play an important role in the world financial and political landscape.
